This is a decent product, does what it’s supposed to quite well. I think it could use some re-engineering, as paint accumulates on the screwcap threads and makes it difficult to open (after the paint dries, of course). A flip-top cover built into the cap might be a good improvement.Good product but pricey. Bought them so we could get touch up paint for an apartment. We asked maintenance to give us some of their paint so we could do touch ups before moving out. Saved us $$ so it made them worth it. Clean up is easy except for the balls. Needed to soak/rinse them a while to get them clean. These are great to have on hand for touch ups, but the lid is poorly designed and the materials are flimsy overall. Paint gets stuck in the threading for the lid and seals it shut. It's extremely difficult to re-open without damaging the flimsy plastic container.I wish there was a more expensive, higher-quality version with a pop-off lid (no threading) and silicone seal.Really like the product. Is a great way to keep your extra paint and most importantly it keeps your paint fresh and secure. There are a couple things keeping it from being 5 stars, but to preface this, these are not a reason to buy. These are just simply some things to be aware of. I do a lot of touchups...I have kids...so yeah A LOT of touchups! So both of my complaints are related to using the product a lot. One is as I have screwed the top off and used the paint so much it seems like the top has been getting harder to get the first twist to go on right the first time. I think it is just because of a build up of point on the cap so the track does line up on the first try. So, its been taking me a little bit to get the cap to line up right to close. That's not to say it takes me 5 minutes or anything even close to that. Just instead of just closing it like a bottle of water I have to give it a little more effort to line up. The other issue related to use is the tag that you can write the paint color on. It's like a dry erase board. Which is nice because you can reuse with a new color after you're done. Not nice if use pick it up all the time because it wipes off very fast. So if you have colors that are close to each other this could lead to issues of mixing up colors. Luckily I didn't have similar colors, but I can see how that could cause an issue.I needed to leave touch up paint for my newly rented out house. This eliminates the need to have full size paint can’s with an inch of paint in them. The ball for stirring/shaking is especially clever. I did find a pack on clearance at a big box store for less so I bought it as well.Very handy for keeping left over paint without those remains with bulky cans. Can readily see what “extra” touch up paints available.Has anyone else had this happen? I was excited to get these cups for stain that I mix up and then want to keep. I had some mixed-up stain that had dried out a little and I put it in one of these cups with some mineral spirits. I then let it sit and occasionally shook it by rotating the cup with the plastic ball in it - vigorously but not hard enough to crack the lid as some people have mentioned. Then when I opened the top, the silicon seal was hanging half out. I tried to put it back into its slot (messy because it was covered in stain) but it apparently had stretched so it was not even possible to put it back. Obviously without the seal, the stain will now dry out in the cup. I have not yet gotten around to asking the seller about it and what they will do. Otherwise the product seems well made. They arrived without defect, seal tight and keep paint usable. Easy to open if you keep the threads and silicone gasket free of paint, which any user should understand. You do need to use a funnel to fill these, so plan accordingly. The largest brush I would use is 1.5 inches. Two suggestions for the vendor. 1. Include extra labels for change of paint. 2. Produce a larger model with more capacity and a larger mouth for outdoor touch-up.
