Love the rubber bottom to keep in place while stirring. Lots fit so tightly, I need to use a butter knife to pry them off.I like them they was a little expensive but everything now is that way no matter what you buy!We absolutely love love these bowls! BETTER THAN PLASTIC ONES I HAD.These bowls arrived, just as seen in picture. They are the best bowls we have invested in. They are so versatile. Love that they come with lids!I liked everything about these bowlsThese bowls are my favorite so far. I can"t say one bad thing about them. They look attractive, have a sturdy rubber bottom and are easy to clean. The plastic cover has a unique design and took me a minute to figure out. It fits inside the bowl and has a round tab that you lift up on to release. Its not hard. I'm really, really, in love with these mixing bowls.I use these bowls very regularly and they work fine. I do enjoy the non-slip bottoms and they are quite easy to clean. However, it is very infuriating how they don't nest together evenly - the smallest sits higher than the rest; also the lids don't nest inside the bowls. I like to have the lids sit on the bowls (and preferably to have them still nest neatly) and every time I take them out or put them away at least one lid falls off the top. I'm limited in space in my kitchen so this nesting thing is actually an issue for me.So far I'm very satisfied with my purchase of these bowls. In the past few weeks I've bought FOUR seperate sets of mixing bowls, disappointed with all of them except these. I was looking for something sturdy, with a bit of weight to them, the finish wouldn't rub/sratch off, lids, and colourful! Bought my first set at Bed bath and beyond and was overall happy with them except they had no lids. Bought a second from Kitchen Stuff Plus- cheeper material then the BBB ones and one was cracked so I returned them. Bought another from Canadian Tire and they were super cheep feeling and lightweight. Finally bit the bullet and bought these. After reading so many reviews I decided on these.I'd give 5 stars except two of my lids don't seal on the way the rest do, just kind of rest on top.I am worried about water getting between the plastic outer shell and the stainless steel inside bit will be diligent in washing.Love the rubber bottom for no slipping and the flatness of the bottom as well. I like that the lip is metal so it's still easy to crack eggs on.Overall great bowls! Wish the colours were more fun though!I found these bowls to be quite versatile. Variety of sizes allows for multiple use. I like that there is the rubber bottom so no slippage when I am baking. Stainless steel cleans well (no sticking, no stains) - I do not use dishwasher (for anything) so cannot comment on if/how they'd hold up if washed that way. The lids provide a solid and firm seal. The bowls and lids nest together very neatly - very well contained for storage. Love the bright colour they add to my kitchen as well (small thing - but take pleasure in the small things). Color and size exactly as shown. Highly recommend!I mainly got these because of the colors. But other aspects which I like about them are that they have rubber bottoms which keep them from moving around on the counter (especially when I'm trying to whisk something), and also that there are lids so I can store things. I've used the biggest one to proof bread which is nice so I don't have to waste any cling wrap. I've also used them as salad bowls, popcorn serving bowls, and for soup leftover storage. If you can dream it you can do it. Anyways, buy these. They are better than plastic mixing bowls and I also like the fact they are lighter than my old glass mixing bowls.
