I'm making cake push pops for a baby shower I am hosting after seeing the idea on Pinterest and these are exactly what I was wanting to make them. Can't wait to see them finished!*UPDATE 05/07/13: The cupcake push pops I made for the shower were a HUGE hit! They were more time consuming to make than I initially thought, but they turned out sooo cute and everyone raved about how awesome they were. I will definitely make these again! To hold them, I bought two round foam pieces from a craft store and spray painted them pink and inserted the stick part of the push pops into them to hold them up and it worked perfectly! I'll post a picture of the ones I made under the "Customer Images" for this product.*ANOTHER UPDATE 2014: I made these again a few months ago for another baby shower and they were the talk of the party! :) I ended up purchasing a stand for these on Etsy and it looks great - I posted another picture from that shower on here.*UPDATE 01/2015: I've made these five times total now, and they are always the talk of the party! I've also gotten a lot faster and making them (I do it the night before the party/shower). I pre-assemble the containers while my cupcakes are baking. I then cool the cupcakes completely on a wire rack and then slice horizontally into 2-3 pieces. I put one of the pieces on the bottom of the containers and then alternate with icing and pieces (the icing bottles with the tips work well or a bag with a tip to keep the containers from getting messy with icing). I then garnish with sprinkles, candy, toasted nuts, etc. and put the lid on, store upright in a box or container, and am good to go! :)I used these cake push pops, to make just that. . .cake push pops. I used regular cake mix and baked them in a mini muffin pan. Those give the perfect size to insert into the push pop container. I piped in frosting at each layer. For fun, I placed a small handful of m&m's into the cover and then pushed the container down on the cover to seal/close. The covers were very tight! While that is good for sealing, I had to pop them off myself to serve to the kids otherwise the m&m's would have flown everywhere. Even if I hadn't put candies into the cover, they are a tad hard to open for younger hands.Overall, I was very satisfied with these and highly recommend. Great value for the price!I used these to make graduation push up pops for a party that was for my Grandson. I think they will make a hit! They're just OK...it's a great idea, I've always loved push-up popsicles! But DO NOT use anything moderately runny or they will leak! I made pudding pops and they were OK for that, they did get a little messy, and I did an orange cream popsicle, slightly more runny, and they were a mess. If you have just speedy adults using them, they might be OK, but with children that are much slower popsicle-eaters...yeah...they were dripping all over the place. When the stick is down, and the container is full...the stick contraption fits tightly, but as you're eating, and pushing the stick up, it gets looser, and that's when it starts leaking, running down around the "pusher" and out the hole around the stick at the bottom. Not sure if I'll even use them again... :(I have used these several times to make fun jello shots and they have worked exactly like I need them to. They were simple to put together. I used a styrofoam cake to hold them while putting the jello in, and the containers did not leak at all. Everyone loved using them, which was very simple, and, at the end, I just popped them in the dishwasher.I was nervous about washing them this way, but am SO glad I tried it. The containers functioned just as well after the dishwasher! I am back on-line to order more, for bigger parties! My son is addicted to "Push Up's" popcycles. It was too expensive to keep them in the house because he went through them too fast. But now I purchase a bucket of rainbow sherbert and fill these cake push pop containers. I can get around 72 push pops for the price of a bucket of sherbert $5 vs $5 for 12 Push Ups. This is a huge money saver. I love them!!!!!I ordered these for a party and only ended up needing to use half of them as they are larger than I expected. Great to use if you have a party/event with children- easy to clean and less mess than forks and knives!I used these for a cute children's church craft. The lids easily pop off but otherwise they were a good price and good use for what I needed.Used these for an event. They came assembled & ready to go. Perfect quality & great price!Réutilisable
