The price is high no doubt . You could find a cheaper option . Bigger proofing box at a cheaper price as a matter of fact . But these little guys are perfect . I get 6 pizzas in my fridge individual prepped with minimal space taken . Stack em up in three or one big stack the take no room . So if space is your gripe these are it . Quality , you get what you pay for . Usefulness , well I have a Ooni 12 . It is perfect for 1 pizza per container for me . I also take these proofing containers camping . Fit nice In my overlanding fridge. All in all that price really swayed me to leave in my cart forever . Wish I had gotten them sooner . FYI . My dough lasted like 8 days in the fridge in these . Perfect rise In my dough no difference .I say that because the lid just sits in a track on top the container . Which I was skeptic about at first but it’s actually really good design .these work really well. seems to be high quality material. one downside is they take up a lot of room. I wish they stacked inside of each other. don’t regret buying but I may have to give 2-3 awayReally like the design and the quality of the material used. Very good for resting individual doughs for small sized pizza. Only wishing that it was a bit bigger. 4.5 starsI make pizza regularly and my high expectations for these containers were exceeded. They're actually beautiful, and perfect for the second rise. For 62% dough hydration, which is sticky, I brushed the interiors with a touch of oil and had instant release. Great shape, amazingly handsome, an excellent addition to your waste-free kitchen.10 out of 10!I expected a simple container that would keep separate dough portions. Well, it does exactly that, but that's not why I'm taking the time to write a review. These containers are perfectly sized for a ball of dough for 12-18" pizza. So for those of us who are Ooni or Roccbox owners, this is perfect. The silicone material releases the dough just fine (if your dough sticks, perhaps it's too wet?). It's also the best way to freeze or defrost dough for later. Portion it out into individual containers, freeze for a few hours, then put all of the frozen dough balls into a plastic freezer bag. Take one or two out and put them back into the containers to defrost overnight in the fridge.OK, so that's what it's *supposed* to do. Now for the rest...- Each one is perfectly sized for sides. Use one each for sauce, cheese, veggies, sausage/pepperoni, etc.- Really convenient to reach in and grab contents, then replace the cover without a "snap" or locking lid.- Quick storage for other food too. Got half an avocado left? Don't bother with plastic wrap or a Ziploc bag, just drop it in one of these silicone containers.- Easy cleanup. Either run it through the dishwasher or hand-wash or for many things, just wipe it down.Pro:Perfect for 230g pizza balls (12 inch round)Stack vertically in the back of my fridgeNo dry skin on the dough with a little oil (which you’ll need anyway)Nice silicone construction and thick lidDon’t need to make room in fridge/freezer for a trayBiggest pro tied to the previous is being able to pull out one at a time from the freezer to thaw in the fridgeConNeed to flour or oil inside for clean dismount (minor)Expensive!!!!Not good for pizza party nights. Stick with a proofing tray if you’re making more than 2.Conclusion:Great for portioning dough and freezing for later convenience. You could probably go cheaper and get a bunch of small plastic containers and just not clamp the lid down for gas to escape. If this was $30 or even $40 I would have bought 2 setsThese work really well. They actually stick a little more than i thought they would, but eventually it does come out.Yes, these are are expensive for what they do. I know that. I could have used any old container I already have. But these Babadoh containers work well, are good quality, look good, and stack nicely in my fridge or freezer. Are these overpriced? Yes they are. But they get the job done.If you make pizza dough , you’ll know the challenge of searching for a container for pizza balls. These containers are perfect for a 280g ball, and the dough releases easily after the balls prove. We have 6 and use all the time. Some users also use to store pizza toppings for use when topping the raw pizza ahead of cooking.Make pizza dough. Divide it up to make individual ones and put in container and freeze.
