Must for your home. Not just for the kitchenBest investment of a few bucks I've made in a while. They are a perfect size for a small meal. I portion out my leftovers in them and will take them to school or work. A can of food fits in them just right, so you can microwave a soup, or put unused portions of canned foods in them when you're cooking. They stack perfectly. I love the twist 'n loc... I've dropped them with liquid inside with no spilling, and the screw-on lids are much easier to use than push-on ones. I highly recommend them.Update 8/16/13Still using the Twist 'N Locs with no problems(except my family using/taking half of them when I came home for summer break...). Today I was rinsing one out after using it for my lunch at work, and decided to experiment with how waterproof they were. I filled it with water a few times and saw how well it held. No noticeable amount ever spilled out when held upside down but otherwise still, but some would if I shook the container. Much more spilled when it was filled with hot water(I imagine just because the plastic became softer). So these things will hold liquid pretty well. Even with hot water, while shaking, I was probably only getting several drops per shake. I didn't drop it on the ground or anything, so this isn't a perfect test, but I figure it's still informative.These screw-on containers are actually pretty good as long as you are careful. They are not really leak-proof as the tolerances on the screw-on cap are a bit sloppy. However, if you store then untitled until the contents freeze they work quite well. If you are not planning on freezer use then make sure they stay upright. They stack well so it shouldn't be a problem.I personally buy these containers in different sizes for things such as nails, screws and more. They and transparent, I can label and stack them on my shelves in my tool room or garage. Suggestion to All men: Make sure you let your wife see them when they arrive because she will think they are her kitchen containers you are using-lol!. I buy these for her kitchen storage needs as well.I use these containers for freezing individual portions of homemade soups. They work greatI really like these containers. they hold up well in the dish washer, and the screw on lids are tight and solid.... not like the square typical containers ZipLoc makes. They also stack well in the refrig or freezer.I use these containers for liquid foods (such as soups, chilis, fruits in juice, etc) I can't put in the other containers. Since these have a screw on lid they don't leak like other containers would. I use them a lot for taking soups to work for lunch. The hot soups do start leaving a white line around the container where the boiling liquid is at and eventually I did wind up with a hole in the side of one, but it took a really long time. I mean, no plastic container holds up forever, especially not one being put in the microwave. I believe several of these containers I already have are 2-3 years old with steady use. So they hold up very well.Love the size and shape! Arrived perfectly packaged and on time!
