I got this bowl a few years ago after I noticed that I was going on road trips and constantly getting annoyed at how long it would take my group to stop and grab food, how rare it was that the options were allergen friendly, and how much the meals cost. This bowl makes it so I can fix myself a decent meal beforehand and have something to eat when I get ready to. Once I’ve emptied it out, it collapses flat, and can be stored in my bag or just left on the seat without taking up a lot of space or needing to be handled carefully. Unlike cardboard, styrofoam, and plastic containers, it’s pretty rugged and can take being squeezed, tilted, or leaned on by other lightweight objects without being punctured or cracked. And because it’s reusable, it’s one less thing I’m tossing into a landfill for a while. I like the grey and white color pattern. I’ve found a silicone collapsible coffee cup in the same colors that I mean to test out with it. With them looking like a set, it’ll be easy to identify them as mine if anybody in my traveling group walks off with them or moves them. I’m pretty sure the cup will have the same usefulness. I like the idea of having a full set of reusable dining items. I tend to use the same objects every time I travel, so why not just get a set I can use again and again? The weight has been just right for me to carry in hand or in a lunchbag without my hand getting tired fast. The size is just big enough for me to contain one big meal or two snack portions. I’ve put mackerel salad in it, and as oily as that is, the fact that my hands and lap never smell funky after holding it for a while tells me the bowl is leak proof. I haven’t put liquids in it yet, so I’m not sure if putting the lid on keeps liquids from leaking out at the top. Overall, I’d say this is a great product. Maybe don’t try cutting anything in it with a real knife, and it should last you for quite a while.
